5 Weeks and counting...........

Hi everyone!

SO....we have about a week left of bed rest! And total 5 weeks left till our due date!

The countdown has started...just a little over a month to go.

Friday, one of Christines younger sisters graduated from Solano Community College. She will be transferring to UC Santa Cruz this fall! CONGRATULATIONS TERA!!!!

I am 35 weeks!

Well, my Baby Shower is next Saturday, May 30th....can't wait to see everyone....there are 40+ people that have confirmed they are coming!

It should be LOADS of FUN!!!! Can't Wait!!!!

NEW haircut before Tristan comes!

So, it was getting too long. especially to be stuck on bed rest...it was always in a bun...annoying! So finally got it cut. Except I think the bangs might be too long still.

Bed rest update

So, I have been without internet for about a week now. :-( But Jimmy got internet from work again, so at least for the next few days, he said he can leave it at home in the mornings, and he will only need it in the afternoons. YEAH! so that means I can at least update the blog and check email and stuff in the mornings and then in the afternoons I will have to give it up. But then I might be able to use it in the evenings once he is home! :-D

Bed rest is going okay. I mean its bed rest....so its not very exciting. Still on my meds and we have 3.5 more weeks to go. But we still got 7.5 weeks till we are due. So I am just resting and letting Tristan grow for as long as possible.

On May 2nd at about 8:43 pm, Jimmy and I "officially" became an aunt and uncle! YEAH! Jimmy's sister gave birth to Aidan Tyler. He was 7lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches. He is very cute! Now its our turn to bring in the 2nd grandson for Jimmy's parents and the 1st grand baby for mine. Tristan will also be the first Great Grandchild for my moms side of the family. and For Jimmy's moms side he will be the 3rd Great Grandchild. How awesome it is to be among the first to start the new generation in our families! It really is an overwhelming feeling. I LOVE IT!

My granma came up today and helped me work on my knitting some more. Today she taught me how to make a little beanie for Tristan. So we got through the bottom 'band' part of the beanie, and then she left so hopefully I will be able to continue following the directions and be able to finish most of it by the time she comes back up next week. Then she will help me finish it up. Its pretty cute and I can't wait to finish it and maybe make some more in various colors. I think I would also like to try some booties. But no blankets in the near future....that just seems too overwhelming at this stage of my learning. Here is a pic of the beanie I am making and a pic of my progress so far.
